Havant10 - 0 Jersey

'Well the weather was sort of kind to us and stayed dry most of the game as we had a 2pm kick off . Two trys scored for Havant in the first session without conversions, excellent attempts from Alex clarke. first try came from Ross Parkins this was his first game for Havant and may he continue. The second try came from Lawrence Warren-west just before the end of the session both excellent trys good team effort. Jersey put up a good defence throughout this session.

We started the Second Session with both teams coming out fighting but Havant managed to keep Jersey at bay and the score stayed 10-0 to Havant. Both teams played excellent rugby throught the game. Well done to all players

 

28-Sept  Trojans

The boys looked very smart in their new kit and ready for the first game of the season.

Havant took an early lead in the first half with Alex Clarke scoring a penalty from just over 30mtrs in 3 minutes of play but Trojans put up a good defence and had two penalty attempts before  half time but missed out on both chances.  Havant came out 2^nd half with all to play for . 15 minutes into second half Havant had the next try by Luke Warrington and then minutes late Luke scored again. Trojans never gave up and put up a good fight to be knocked back by another try for Havant from Jake Herridge.  The final score was 18-0. A very good game well done to both teams.
